This Privacy Policy describes how KLC Energy ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the KLC mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

• Account Information: full name, email address, and phone number provided during registration.
• Location Data: GPS location to display nearby charging stations (only when you grant permission).
• Vehicle Information: license plate number and EV model you register in the App.
• Payment Information: payments are processed through licensed payment partners; we do not store credit or debit card details directly.
• Charging History: session timestamps, station location, energy consumed, and transaction amounts.
• Device Data: device type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers for app performance and security purposes.

3. Purpose of Data Collection

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the EV charging service.
• Process payments and issue transaction receipts.
• Display charging stations near your current location.
• Send notifications about charging session status, promotions, and service updates.
• Analyze and improve App performance and user experience.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share information with:

• Payment Partners: to securely process financial transactions.
• Service Providers: third-party vendors who assist in operating the App (cloud hosting, analytics), bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Competent Authorities: when required by Vietnamese law or a valid legal process.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as required by law. Upon account deletion, we will erase or anonymize your data within 30 days, except for records we are legally obligated to retain.

6. Data Security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational security measures, including TLS/HTTPS encryption for data in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and continuous system monitoring. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. User Rights and Controls

You have the right to:

• Access and review the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of your account and personal data.
• Revoke location permission at any time through your device settings.
• Opt out of marketing notifications.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately so we can remove it.

9. International Data Transfers

All data is processed and stored within Vietnam. We do not transfer your personal data outside Vietnam unless explicitly required by law or authorized by you.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be communicated through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
